The face behind the platforms

We didn't set out to build software. We set out to fix an industry
We started where every studio starts — logos, brand systems, and an invoice template we were a little too proud of. Then we met an industry with real money, real customers, and software held together with tape and good intentions: cannabis.
So we founded WebJoint and built the thing it was missing — one platform to run delivery, inventory, and compliance instead of ten that didn't talk to each other. We raised $3.3M, kept shipping, and it grew into the largest cannabis delivery software in the industry. WebJoint Pulse and Roots POS are what that became.
Then we did it again, in a different vertical. We picked up menu.com — four letters, one dot-com, the most valuable address in food — and built a commission-free restaurant marketplace on top of it. Same playbook: design the whole thing, then engineer it so it actually scales.
These days we do that for other people, as c-dell: identities, websites, and — when the brief calls for it — entire platforms. Our founder leads the design with a team we've worked with for ten years, and for marketing & SEO we partner with Nexvato — so you get a studio's craft with an agency's firepower. The puns are still free.
Two companies. Two verticals. One playbook.
Three rules we don't break
Clarity first
Great design should feel invisible. We strip away everything that gets between your brand and your audience — including, occasionally, our own favorite ideas.
Ships, not decks
We've put production platforms in front of thousands of businesses — so when we hand you a design, it's built to survive contact with real users, real data, and a real Friday-night rush. The shaders are decorative; the engineering isn't.
A founder's-eye view
We've raised money, made payroll, and sweated a launch at 2 a.m. So we design for the business outcome, not the portfolio shot — because we've had to live with both.
The abridged version
- 2017
First freelance logo. Paid $75 and a burrito. Still think the burrito was the better half of the deal.
- 2019
Founded WebJoint — betting an entire industry would rather run on one platform than ten spreadsheets. It would.
- 2021
Raised $3.3M and kept building — Roots POS, seed-to-sale compliance, and the register dispensaries actually wanted to use.
- 2023
WebJoint becomes the largest cannabis delivery software in the industry. Then we picked up menu.com and ran the playbook again — this time in restaurants.
- 2026
You, reading this — deciding whether your idea needs a designer or a whole platform. Good news: we do both. We'll get the kettle on.
